I'm really enjoying the intuitive art-making process.
Why it took me this long to discover it, I don't know.
A case of the teacher appearing when the student is ready?
This started out as a collage.
I added white acrylic, water colours and then pen and pencil for the fine wispy details.
It's a self portrait of sorts.
My sensitive self. Guarded (by that heavily tattooed arm); with a head full of wispy ideas.
A string of horses gallop through my mind; flying birds – my symbol for freedom, are forever circling above too.
